Consultation with Dr. Cantella
THE FIRST CONSULTATION
The quality of the relationship established with the surgeon is essential. In addition to mastering their art, the aesthetic surgeon must demonstrate a great sense of listening. This will allow them to establish with their patient the foundations of the mutual trust essential for the success of an aesthetic surgery intervention.
The first consultation will help you better understand your motivations and assess their relevance. In some cases, it may be preferable to forgo the intervention (if it turns out that the motivation is based on psycho-affective issues, for example).
It will then be a matter of examining with your aesthetic surgeon the cause of the imperfection that motivated the request and assessing the best way to remedy it. There are often several surgical techniques to address a given problem.
Sometimes, gentler methods, stemming from aesthetic medicine for example, can help avoid surgery or postpone it.
Once the indication is established, the surgeon will explain the specifics of the intervention and the expected results.
Finally, you will receive a detailed estimate of the cost of the intervention, and you will have time to reflect before confirming your operation. You can contact your surgeon at any time if new questions arise.
If you deem it necessary, do not hesitate to request an additional meeting.
To ensure quality care for each patient, please cancel or modify your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the consultation will be due.
